Long beech fern is a fern with a similar growing manner to maidenhair fern. It has a slender stem and triangularly shaped foliage. It likes north and east facing slopes and well-drained soil. The foliage remains through summer and fall, going dormant in winter. This fern is easy to grow if planted in a suitable location.
